Nine years building product in fintech and banking: consumer apps, payment infrastructure, and the platforms underneath them.
I am Head of Product at Snowdrop Solutions, a UK and Spain fintech doing transaction enrichment and banking intelligence, where I own both product lines. Quaggan is where I take on a small number of outside engagements.
When I took over, enrichment was a manual operation: teams of QA analysts doing data entry in spreadsheets. I rebuilt it as an automated engine, then used that foundation to ship a second product line, a banking intelligence platform that moved the company from being a data supplier to being an intelligence partner, and deepened the accounts we already had.
The work has never been one thing. Native Android and consumer apps, payment SDKs, platform architecture, and the data products underneath all of it. What carries across is deciding what a product should do next and being able to show why. That is the same job whether the thing you are building is an app, an API or a platform.

Before Snowdrop: product management at Rezolve AI on a mobile SDK that turns consumer devices into transaction endpoints. Product at Sync. Money, working directly with the CEO of a neo-bank startup. Product ownership at Ciklum on a travel card build for Thomas Cook. Business analysis at Barclays on a SaaS financial planning platform for Barclays Wealth.
Before that, four years as an insurance fraud investigator: interviewing claimants and witnesses, pulling records, writing the analytical reports adjusters made decisions on, and presenting findings at legal hearings. And before that, eight years in sales and sales management.
Neither is a standard line on a product CV. Between them they are why I am comfortable in fraud and risk products, why I write conclusions that hold up when someone hostile reads them closely, and why I can sit on the commercial side of a product conversation rather than only the build side.

Eight years carrying a number, then running teams that did. Direct sales, account management and regional leadership. It is why I am comfortable in a room where the product has to be argued for, not just built.
Both are in the proposal before anything starts. A fixed fee wherever the outcome can be defined that way, which covers most of this work, and an hourly rate where it genuinely cannot.
Every engagement changes what your team does next. I would rather do the thinking than sit in the meeting about the thinking.
Every engagement finishes at handover, and your team can run with it without me.
